Assistance is given to employers in selecting the best means of filling positions including assistance in meeting affirmative action requirements and in complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act, UI Unemployment Insurance Benefits and TAA (Trade Adjustment Assistance).

Lower Your Unemployment Insurance Costs

• Outplacement Assistance: This program is available to employers who are downsizing or closing. This service provides their affected employees with onsite or offsite services such as job search assistance, resume writing, interviewing skills development, and retraining, if needed, to re-enter the labor force

• Enhanced Outplacement Services: These services are delivered either at the employers location, on another site, or at Career Opportunities. These include extensive career counseling and career planning, individualized job search counseling, resume preparation assistance, and the development of a personalized resume. (There is a fee for this service)

• Updates on employment regulations
• Job description development
• HR compliance workshops
• ADA Task Analysis
• Recruiting qualified employees
• interviewing techniques for employers

These services are available for a fee on a per project basis.
