Martha Burzycki, Director of Education and Special Programs at Career Opportunities, the one-stop career center for Cape Cod and the Islands, and Vice President of Youth and Education Programs for the Job Training and Employment Corporation has designed, developed, and facilitated life, leadership, vocational, academic and occupational skills training programs for the at-risk youth programs she oversees under the Workforce Investment Act. She is a Massachusetts licensed Educator, a Certified Workforce Development Professional with a Youth Services Endorsement and has over 20 years experience working in the workforce development arena with at-risk youth. Most recently she has been presenting a leadership development model entitled Engaging At-Risk Youth in Community Service Learning Councils at workforce development conferences throughout the country. She is the facilitator for the Cape and Islands Youth Community Development Council and the Los Angeles Youth Community Development Council Initiative which are youth in philanthropy programs using the very successful leadership development model. On Cape Cod, Martha is a member of the Cape Cod Community College ACCCESS Program Advisory Board, and has been appointed by Governor Deval Patrick to the Cape and Islands Advisory Board of the Department of Transitional Assistance and the Cape Cod Area Board of the Department of Children and Families.
Dennis Villaire

Dennis is a Certified Workforce Development Professional with over thirty years experience implementing workforce development initiatives operated through the One Stop Career Center delivery system. He is experienced in managing staff and programs including the Wagner Peyser Employment Services, Veterans, Skill Start, Job Search/Job Readiness, and Business Services Programs. He is also experienced with the Work Opportunity Tax Credit, Education Reward Loan, Alien Labor Certification, Migrant Seasonal Farm Worker, Trade Adjustment Assistance, National Emergency Grants and Youth Programs. Dennis monitors and provides training and technical assistance for Career Center Staff. He creates runs and analyzes Crystal reports for the
management of programs above. Dennis was also an Adjunct Professor at Quincy College for five years teaching Introduction to Computers - MS Office Suite 2000 - MS Office XP – and The Internet. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Curry College Majoring in Organizational Behavior where he attained a 3.9 Cumulative Grade Point Average and was a member of the Alexander Graham Bell Honor Society.

Joan is Director of Outreach, Media Relations and Business Services at Career Opportunities and VP of Public Relations and Marketing and
Facilities Manager for JTEC. She has extensive experience in public relations, marketing, promotional development and event management. She has successfully applied her skills in both the private and non-profit sectors, marketing organizations within the constraints of tight budgets, as well as those with lucrative budgets. In addition to handling the advertising for JTEC and Career Opportunities, she also manages both websites, prepares all promotional material, handles media inquiries and notices to the media, and organizes special events. Joan’s experience also includes: developing promotions, preparing marketing plans for businesses, and creating and organizing events and programs to benefit employers. Prior to joining JTEC/Career Opportunities, Joan had been Marketing Director at Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Cape Cod. Her other previous positions include President of the Canal Region Chamber of Commerce, Account Executive with Hall Communications, and Assistant Director of the March of Dimes. Joan obtained her BA in Psychology from Bridgewater State College and studied organizational Management at the University of Delaware.
